Nicole grew up on a crop and hog farm in northern Iowa where her love of agriculture began. She was heavily involved in FFA and went on to represent the state of Iowa as the North Central State Vice President during her freshman year at Iowa State University. Nicole graduated from Iowa State with a degree in Agricultural Education: Communications Option.

She went on to work for Bridgestone America’s under the Firestone Agricultural Tire Division in Des Moines, Iowa where she was a Senior Marketing Specialist. Nicole established Firestone Ag’s social media strategy and managed the daily operations, as well as planned and coordinated the various national and regional farm trade shows the company attended.

Nicole moved on to the Iowa Tourism Office where she developed and wrote content for their website, (that boasts 1.5 million viewers annually) and the Iowa Travel Guide.

She has since transitioned and is now working as a Marketing and Social Media Consultant for agriculture-based companies while raising her two children with her husband on a crop and hog farm in Leon, Iowa. When she’s not herding her two kids, you’ll find her flipping through cookbooks, singing on her church’s worship team or shamelessly watching Frasier on Netflix.
